Plenty of supplements wave a hand at a secret mix and leave it there. VisiFlora prints a proper facts panel, which makes it straightforward to discuss. Everything below comes from that panel or from the seller’s own notes, with a little everyday background where it helps. Want a longer tour through the names? Our ingredients article goes deeper.

A quick reminder: if you take prescription medicine, show this list to your doctor before you start.

The facts panel

One capsule counts as a serving, and a bottle holds thirty servings. Seven vitamins and minerals lead the panel with printed amounts:

  • Vitamin A: supplied as beta carotene, 450 mcg RAE, which is 50% of the daily value
  • Vitamin C: ascorbic acid, 90 mg, or 100% of the daily value
  • Vitamin E: 15 mg as DL-alpha tocopheryl acetate, 100% of the daily value
  • Zinc: zinc oxide at 11 mg, 100% of the daily value
  • Selenium: 20 mcg as selenium AAC, 36% of the daily value
  • Copper: 0.9 mg as copper gluconate, 100% of the daily value
  • Chromium: chromium picolinate at 15 mcg, 43% of the daily value

After those comes the proprietary blend. It weighs 351 mg in total, and the label says its daily value is not established. The fourteen names are the same on the bottle as here, though we have sorted them into three loose families (the grouping is ours, and the label prints one run-on list):

  • Carotenoids: astaxanthin, lycopene, zeaxanthin and lutein from marigold flower
  • Antioxidants and bioflavonoids: alpha lipoic acid, taurine, grape seed extract, rutin and quercetin, with the last two taken from Sophora japonica
  • Plants: bilberry fruit extract, coleus forskohlii root, eyebright aerial parts, ginkgo leaf and saffron stigmas extract

The remaining ingredients are the hypromellose (vegetable) shell, rice flour, magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide.

The vitamins and minerals

Each of these has a plain role in the seller’s account.

  • Vitamins C and E form the antioxidant pair, which the seller says helps neutralize oxidative stress.
  • Vitamin A arrives as beta carotene, a nutrient most people already link with eye health.
  • Zinc, copper and selenium are essential minerals. One capsule supplies the full daily value of zinc and of copper.
  • Chromium carries the seller’s remark about healthy metabolic function.

The carotenoids

Lutein, zeaxanthin, astaxanthin and lycopene all belong to the carotenoid family, the colorful pigments behind many red, orange and yellow foods. The seller calls astaxanthin a potent carotenoid antioxidant. A review of lutein, zeaxanthin and beta-carotene in eye health exists, and you can read it from our source list, though it examines those nutrients in general and not this product.

The plants

Bilberry is a dark berry resembling a small blueberry, and the seller notes its anthocyanins. Eyebright is described as a traditional botanical long used for eye comfort. Saffron is called a carefully studied extract. Ginkgo leaf and coleus forskohlii root are paired in the seller’s account, which links them with healthy circulation.

Bioflavonoids and antioxidants

Grape seed extract, rutin and quercetin are the bioflavonoids. Taurine is described as supporting cellular hydration, and alpha lipoic acid is described as an antioxidant. Together with the carotenoids and the vitamin pair, they make up the antioxidant side of the formula.

What the label leaves out

The 351 mg is shown as one number. How much ginkgo, saffron or bilberry a capsule actually holds is not published, and we will not guess. The seller says it arranges the blend in four sets, which is its own way of describing the recipe.

Using the list well

A full list invites homework. Look up the names that interest you, bring the list to your doctor if you take medicine, and mention ginkgo, coleus forskohlii, quercetin and grape seed extract by name. Vitamin A, zinc, copper and selenium come with a daily-value percentage, so tally them against any other supplements in your cupboard. Store the bottle somewhere cool and dry, below 30 degrees C (86 degrees F), out of children’s reach.

Questions people ask

How many ingredients does VisiFlora list?

Twenty-one active names: seven vitamins and minerals plus 14 items in the blend. The other ingredients are hypromellose (the vegetable capsule), rice flour, magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide.

Is there a dose for each plant in the blend?

No. The label shows 351 mg for the whole blend and nothing per ingredient, so we publish no single doses either.

Does it contain a stimulant?

The seller calls the product stimulant-free, and no caffeine source appears on the label.

Which ingredients matter for medicines?

Ginkgo, coleus forskohlii, quercetin and grape seed extract. People on blood thinners, blood-pressure medicine or diabetes medicine, and anyone planning surgery, should ask a doctor first.
