This is The Genius Switch review for readers who want the answer, not the essay. You can read it in about five minutes. We give one score, show how we reached it, list the pros and cons, and say plainly who should buy and who should not.
Our verdict, up front: 3.0 out of 5. That is our editorial score, not a customer rating. The Genius Switch is a real, easy-to-use $39 audio download with a fair refund window, sold with promises that nothing published supports. Behind that verdict is a read of the sales page, the 36-minute sales video, the Terms, the separate refund page and the ClickBank checkout.
Verdict: 3.0 out of 5
A sound $39 purchase wrapped in claims it cannot back up.
One 8-minute track by email, four digital bonuses, 90 days for refund requests.
See The Genius Switch offerWhat you are buying, in five lines
- The product: one 8-minute digital audio track, which the seller calls a “targeted auditory sequence”.
- The routine: headphones on, eyes closed, 8 minutes a day. Missing a day is “okay”, says the video.
- The price: $39 once, through a ClickBank checkout, in your local currency plus tax.
- The extras: four digital bonuses, namely a guided visualization, a grocery shopping guide, a classic book on financial success and a printable five-habit infographic.
- The safety net: 90 days to request a refund, in both the Terms and the ClickBank checkout.
It is not an app, a game or a subscription, and nothing is shipped. The track is emailed after payment.
Our scorecard
We scored six things a buyer cares about. The scores are our judgment, and the overall 3.0 is their average.
| Criterion | Our score | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Ease of use | 4.5 | Headphones, eyes closed, 8 minutes. Nothing to learn or install |
| Delivery and access | 4.0 | Emailed straight after a ClickBank checkout marked “Digital Product” |
| Refund terms | 3.5 | 90 days in the Terms and at checkout, but the site also hosts a copied refund page for another product |
| Value for money | 3.0 | $39 for one short track plus four extras; fair as an experiment, steep for 8 minutes of audio if it does nothing for you |
| Marketing honesty | 2.0 | Unverified presenter, testimonials that may be acted, unsourced customer numbers, deadline pricing |
| Evidence for the claims | 1.0 | No published study tests the track |
| Overall | 3.0 | The average of the six |
How we scored it, and what would change the score
Each criterion got a score from 1 to 5, weighted equally, based only on the seller’s own pages, video, Terms and checkout. We did not count stars or borrow anyone else’s rating, and we publish no review numbers because there are none we could verify.
Three things would move the score up: an independent published study of the track itself, a verifiable identity for the presenter and his role, and a refund page that matches the product being sold. Two things would move it down: a change to the 90-day window, or any sign that orders were not being delivered.
What we liked
- It is simple. There is one thing to do, and it takes 8 minutes. People who give up on complicated routines may find this one easy to keep.
- You get what you pay for. The checkout promises “Immediate access … once payment is approved”, and the seller says the track is emailed right after checkout.
- It is one payment. The Terms of Sale state “You are paying $39 today for The Genius Switch”. No plan or renewal is described.
- The refund window is long. The Terms allow requests “within 90 days of your initial purchase”, and ClickBank’s checkout states 90 days from the date of purchase.
- The fine print is candid. A Terms section headed “For Entertainment Purposes Only” says “brain entrainment is not an exact science”. That is more honesty than the video offers.
What held the score down
- No evidence for the track. No published study tests The Genius Switch. The sales page cites research on 40 Hz binaural beats and gamma stimulation, such as Ross and Lopez (2020), and binaural research in general is mixed: a 2019 meta-analysis found a medium effect on some outcomes, while a 2023 review found most studies showed no brainwave entrainment.
- A contradiction about the method. The video says the method “has nothing to do with brain waves” and calls sound waves “incomplete”, yet those binaural studies are its references.
- An unverified presenter. The video is fronted by the presenter, who introduces himself as Dr. Daniel Barone, a New York City neurologist. We could not verify his identity or involvement.
- Testimonials the Terms qualify. The Terms say feedback may be dramatized with digital avatars or actors, that some people featured may be “early supporters, friends, or family members of the company’s founders”, and that the results shown are exceptional and may not reflect a typical customer.
- Unchecked numbers and pressure pricing. “18,456 everyday Americans” and “stacks of five star reviews” are seller figures. The crossed-out prices of $200, $100 and $49 and the “not guaranteed beyond today” line are urgency tactics.
- A refund page for the wrong product. The site’s /TOS/refunds/ page is a policy for “NeuroActivate” bottles (60 days, unopened bottles, a return address in Tallmadge, Ohio). It does not apply to a digital track, but it should not be there.

Check the current priceThe one thing to know about the claims
The video promises a lot: eureka moments, faster learning, better memory, luck and “synchronicities”, promotions and money, better relationships, a 17-pound weight loss, quitting smoking, easing headaches and joint pain, and better grades for children. It says “it starts working the very first time you listen”.
The single most useful sentence for judging all of that comes from the presenter himself. On the subject of casino wins, he says “there is of course no evidence to support that the genius switch caused that”. The same is true of every other result in the video. These are the seller’s claims, the track is not a treatment for any condition, and the site’s own disclaimer says it is “not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease”.
Who should buy it, and who should not
| Buy it if you | Skip it if you |
|---|---|
| Want a short, structured daily pause | Want help with a health problem, pain, weight or smoking |
| Enjoy audio-based relaxation | Expect it to bring luck, money or a promotion |
| Can spend $39 without worrying about it | Would not get round to asking for a refund |
| Will judge it by how the 8 minutes feel | Feel rushed by the “today only” price |
| Are happy managing one audio file yourself | Have epilepsy, seizures or hearing problems and have not asked a doctor |
If calmer days are your real goal, start with the free basics in our guide to better sleep hygiene. They cost nothing and have far more behind them.

Go to the order pageFinal word
The Genius Switch earns its 3.0 in two halves. The purchase half is good: simple to use, delivered at once, paid for once and refundable for 90 days. The promise half is poor: big claims, no study of the track, a presenter nobody can verify and testimonials the seller’s own Terms describe as possibly acted and not typical.
Buy it as an 8-minute listening experiment, and it may be a pleasant one. Buy it as a brain upgrade, and nothing published supports you. For a one-page summary of the product, see our quick guide. We are independent, not the seller, and we may earn a commission if you buy through our links.
Health note: No audio track replaces medical care. Keep the volume comfortable, do not listen while driving or operating machinery, and ask a doctor first if you have epilepsy, a seizure history or hearing problems.
Our score, ours alone
3.0 out of 5: easy, refundable, and oversold.

Questions people ask
What score does The Genius Switch get from us?
3.0 out of 5. That is our editorial score, the average of six criteria we judged ourselves: ease of use, delivery, refund terms, value, marketing honesty and evidence. It is not a customer rating, and we publish no review counts.
What is the biggest drawback?
The gap between the promises and the proof. The video promises better memory, luck, money and health benefits, but no published study tests the track, and the seller's own Terms say the products are provided for entertainment purposes only.
Is the $39 a one-off payment?
Yes. The Terms of Sale say you are paying $39 today for The Genius Switch, and nothing on the site describes a subscription. The ClickBank checkout shows the amount in your local currency plus any tax.
Who is the track best suited to?
Someone who wants a short, structured daily pause, enjoys audio relaxation, can spare $39 and will actually use the 90-day refund window if it does nothing for them. It is not suited to anyone looking for a fix for a health, money or learning problem.
Why not a lower score, given the claims?
Because the transaction itself is sound. You receive the product you pay for, through a mainstream checkout, with a written 90-day refund window. The weak marketing and missing evidence pull the score down to the middle, but not to the bottom.
How do I get my money back if it is not for me?
The Terms allow refund requests within 90 days of your initial purchase, and the ClickBank checkout states 90 days from the date of purchase. Contact ClickBank order support on 1-800-390-6035 with the order number from your receipt.
