FemiCore capsules are the whole product: there is no powder, drink or chewable version on the official site. That makes the capsule worth a closer look than it usually gets. How many come in a bottle, how many you take, how to swallow and store them, what to do when one gets missed, and how to bring them on a trip are all practical questions. Some have clear answers from the seller. Others do not, and we say so plainly.

This page is about the capsule as an object. If you want to know what the ingredients are supposed to do, our symptom-by-symptom scorecard covers that. If you want the daily routine and a tracking plan, see our guide to using it day to day.

What the seller tells you about each capsule

These are the capsule facts we could confirm from the official site and its label phrases.

DetailWhat the seller says
Capsules per bottle30
Daily serving1 capsule, every morning
Taken withA big glass of water
How long a bottle lastsOne month
What is inside9 ingredients in a proprietary blend
Seller’s descriptionNo stimulants, non-GMO
Suggested trial lengthAt least 3 months before judging

The nine ingredients sharing that one capsule are Mimosa pudica, bearberry, cranberry extract, granular berberine and five Lactobacillus species: L. crispatus, L. acidophilus, L. plantarum, L. gasseri and L. casei.

What is not disclosed about the capsule

The list of unknowns is longer than the list of facts. None of the following appears in the seller information we reviewed:

  • The amount of each ingredient in a capsule. The blend is proprietary.
  • The probiotic count (CFU) and the strain codes for the five Lactobacillus species.
  • The cranberry PAC content, the bearberry arbutin content and the berberine dose.
  • A certificate of analysis for a batch.
  • The capsule itself: its size, what the shell is made of, and any other ingredients that hold the blend together.

If any of these matter to you, for example because you avoid gelatin or have trouble with large capsules, the printed label on your bottle is the first place to look, and the seller’s support team is the second. Do not assume an answer either way.

Counting capsules: bottles, packages and refills

At one capsule a day, counting is easy. The useful part is knowing when to reorder, because delivery takes days and nothing renews by itself.

PackageCapsulesLasts aboutPrice per capsule
2 bottles6060 days$2.80 with US shipping
3 bottles9090 days$2.30
6 bottles180180 daysabout $1.63

US delivery takes 5 to 7 business days, which can stretch to about 9 calendar days over a weekend. International delivery takes 10 to 15 business days, roughly 2 to 3 weeks. So, if you plan to continue:

  • In the US: reorder when about 10 capsules are left.
  • Outside the US: reorder when about 3 weeks of capsules are left, and remember each order adds $15.95 shipping.

Every order is a one-off purchase with no autoship, so a refill only happens when you place it.

Swallowing a capsule comfortably

The seller’s one instruction about swallowing is the big glass of water. A few general habits make any capsule easier to take:

  1. Sit or stand upright rather than taking it lying down.
  2. Take a sip of water first so your mouth and throat are not dry.
  3. Place the capsule on your tongue and swallow it with a full mouthful, then finish the glass.
  4. Stay upright for a few minutes afterwards.

What about opening the capsule and stirring it into yogurt or juice? We found no guidance from the seller either way. Because the contents and the amounts are not disclosed, ask a pharmacist before you open or crush a capsule.

90 capsules, 90 days

Three bottles match the seller’s 3-month advice for $207.

Free US shipping on 3 and 6 bottles. Six bottles drop to $49 each.

Storing the bottle, and why the empties matter

We did not find storage instructions in the seller information we reviewed, so follow whatever the printed label says. In the meantime, the usual care for a product containing probiotics is sensible: keep the lid closed, keep the bottle somewhere cool and dry away from steam and direct sun, and keep it out of reach of children.

The more important storage tip is about bottles you have finished. The refund policy asks for all bottles back, empty or full, with the packing slip and a note giving your name, email and order number, within 60 days of the delivery date. Throw an empty bottle away in week five and you may have made a refund harder. Keep a bag for empties and the slip until day 60 after delivery has passed.

When a capsule gets missed

The seller’s directions do not cover a missed dose. Here is the cautious approach we would take:

What happenedWhat we suggest
Forgot this morning, noticed later in the dayTake it then with a big glass of water, or simply wait until tomorrow. Never two at once
Forgot yesterday entirelyTake one capsule this morning as usual. Do not double up
Took two by mistakeGo back to one tomorrow. Ask a pharmacist if you take medication or feel unwell
Missed several daysRestart with one a day and note the gap in your diary

Doubling up is the one move to avoid. The amount of berberine, bearberry and the rest is not on the label, so nobody can tell you what two capsules add up to.

Traveling with your capsules

A once-a-day capsule is easy to forget the moment your routine changes. A little planning keeps the count intact.

FemiCore capsules infographic: count the days plus spares, keep them labeled in hand luggage, take one each local morning
  • Count the days plus two spares. Delays happen.
  • Keep them labeled. The original bottle is simplest. If you use a pill organizer, bring a photo of the label as well.
  • Pack them in your hand luggage, so a lost suitcase does not end the routine.
  • Stay on local mornings. Take your capsule with your first big glass of water wherever you wake up.
  • Check the rules. Airlines and countries differ on supplements, so look up your destination before you fly.
  • Do not plan to reorder abroad. International shipping is $15.95 and takes 10 to 15 business days.

What you might notice after the first capsules

The probiotic half of the blend is the usual reason for early gas or bloating, which tends to appear in the first week or two, and a mildly upset stomach is possible. Bearberry can cause nausea and can give urine a green-brown color that does no harm.

Some people should talk to a doctor or pharmacist before opening the first bottle: anyone pregnant or breastfeeding, anyone with kidney disease, and anyone on regular medication, particularly for blood sugar, blood pressure or blood clotting, or taking lithium or cyclosporine. Blood in the urine, fever, flank pain or burning need a doctor rather than another capsule.

Capsules from anywhere other than the official site

The seller says FemiCore is sold only on its official site and is not an authorized Amazon, Walmart or eBay product, and warns that marketplace listings may be fakes or old stock. For a capsule product that matters twice over. You cannot see inside a capsule, so you have no way to tell from the outside whether a bottle from an unknown seller holds the same blend. And a marketplace purchase does not come with the official 60-day refund.

If a bottle you already own looks different from what the official site shows, do not start it. Contact the marketplace you bought it from.

A five-point check when the parcel arrives

  1. Count the bottles against your order: 2, 3 or 6.
  2. Write the delivery date on the first bottle. The 60 days start there.
  3. Save the packing slip with the empties bag.
  4. Read the printed label for anything the website does not say, such as storage or the capsule shell.
  5. Book a quick pharmacist check if you take regular medication, before the first capsule.

The bottom line

FemiCore capsules come 30 to a bottle, one each morning with a big glass of water. The seller tells you that much and little else about the capsule itself: its size, shell and contents by amount are not disclosed. Swallow it upright with plenty of water, store it closed and dry, skip rather than double a missed dose, carry a labeled supply when you travel, and keep every empty bottle until the refund window closes. Prices, ingredients and safety are gathered on our FemiCore product hub, along with our editorial score of 4.2 out of 5.

Questions people ask

How many FemiCore capsules are in one bottle?

Thirty. With one capsule a day, a bottle lasts about a month, and the 2, 3 and 6 bottle packages hold 60, 90 and 180 capsules.

Can I open a capsule and mix it into food or a drink?

The seller's directions only say to take one capsule every morning with a big glass of water. We found no guidance on opening the capsule. If you struggle to swallow capsules, ask a pharmacist before opening or crushing one.

Are the capsules vegetarian, or made with gelatin?

The seller information we reviewed does not say what the capsule shell is made of. If that matters to you for dietary or religious reasons, check the printed label on the bottle or ask support before you rely on it.

What if I take two capsules by mistake?

The label does not disclose the amount of each ingredient, so we cannot say what a double serving means. Go back to one capsule the next morning. If you take regular medication, or feel unwell, call a pharmacist or doctor.

Do I need to keep the empty bottles?

Yes, until the refund window closes. The refund policy asks for all bottles back, empty or full, with the packing slip, within 60 days of the delivery date.

How should I carry my capsules when I travel?

Count one capsule per day of the trip plus a couple of spares, and keep them labeled, ideally in the original bottle, in your hand luggage. Rules on supplements differ by airline and country, so check before you fly.
